The 1070 Ti is the mid range card in the Nvidia 1000 series. It can still mine Ethereum at 30 MH/s drawing 125 watts system.
If you are considering this I would probably also consider the 1080 Ti. It will out perform this and I have seen them on facebook marketplace at a decent price.
If you do have GDDR5x memory, you can use the Pill to achieve the values presented in the overclocks section below.
Mining Hashrates
Lets talk about hashrate, this card looks to perform better on flux. Considering that Ethereum 2.0 is coming up this a decent use case for the card for this purpose.
Coin | Algorithm | Hashrate | Watts (System) |
Ethereum | Ethash | 30 Mh/s | 125 Watts |
Flux | 125_4 | 40.1 Sol/s | 130 Watts |
Mining Overclocks
Next, we will discuss overclocks, please adjust overclocks in small increments to find the ideal sweet spot for your GPU. Some GPUs will perform differently due to the silicone lottery so please do your own research.
Flux Mining Overclocks – 42 Sol/s at 100 Watts
If two numbers are provided, first will be for Windows the second will be for a Linux-based Mining OS.
GTX 1070 Ti ZelHash (FLUX) Mining Overclocks:
- Core Voltage (VDD): NA
- Power Limit (%): 70% or 100w
- Core Clock (CClock): +150
- Memory Clock (MClock): +550
- Fan Speed (%): 70% or more/less based on your temps.
Ethash Mining Overclocks
- Power Limit (%): 60% or 125w
- Core Voltage (VDD): NA
- Power Limit (%): 70% or 140w
- Core Clock (CClock): +100
- Memory Clock (MClock): +1000 or 2000
- Fan Speed (%): 70% or more/less based on your temps.
